Dear members of DCCC HR Working Group and new members,
Please join us for the next HR working group meeting:
When: January 12th 2012,
Time: 9:00-11:00 am
Where: Suite 209-210, 58 Taicang Road, Shanghai 200021, PR China
上海市太仓路58号209-210室
“How to effectively empower your people, by knowing their roots”
Empowerment has in recent times become a major subject in strategic HR. We want responsibility, and we want to be involved in decision making at our workplace. At least this argument holds water in a western context - but is it the same in China? Is there anything in the roots of Chinese people, that shall lead us to think differently of empowerment in China? And if so, what is it and how is empowerment ought to be dealt with in China versus in the west?
We are so fortunate that we have been able to engage Ms. Noriko Takagi, Country Manager of Steinbach and Partner (www.steinbach-partner.de) as to provide us with professional insight into the topic. Noriko works as a Business HR Consultant, as an Executive Coach and as a headhunter for high profile positions. Combining Noriko’s knowledge with a good and open dialogue, we have a solid platform for yet another fruitful event.
Best Regards,
Morten Frank
